James J. Kennedy has been President and Chief Executive Officer since joining the company in 2003. He has extensive background in the property-casualty business, both on the agency as well as the company side. Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and he holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Life Underwriters Training Council - Financial (LUTCF) professional designations. Mr. Kennedy currently serves as Chair of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) and serves on the Board of Trustees of both the Ohio Insurance Institute and the Griffith Insurance Education Foundation. He also serves on the Board of the Bucyrus Salvation Army and is a former Director of United Bank, NA. He was recognized in 2010 as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year and in 2006 as the Insurance Industry Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio.
R. Bruce Albro served as a Director of Darwin Professional Underwriters, Inc. of Farmington, CT until its sale in 1998. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Mr. Albro holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Albro retired as a Senior Managing Director from CIGNA Investment Management Corp in 1998. He joined GenRe-New England Asset Management as a Vice President in 1999 where he served as a portfolio manager/client strategist until his retirement in 2005.

A. Michael Heister is President of the A. M. Heister Associates Agency in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a past President of the Ohio Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA), and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Ohio PIA Service Corporation. Mr. Heister attended the University of Cincinnati and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

John R. (Jack) Purse is a CPA and former partner with the Ernst & Young accounting firm. Mr. Purse is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with MBA and BS degrees in Business and Economics. Mr. Purse joined McDonald’s Corporation in 1995 where he was a multi-unit franchisee until his retirement in 2008.

David A. Siebenburgen was Chairman of Delta AirElite Business Jets from 2001 to 2009, and is now an independent consultant and advisor for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He previously held the positions of President and CEO of Delta Connection, Inc. and Comair, Inc. A United States Army veteran, Siebenburgen has a B.A. degree in Accounting from Xavier University and worked for Arthur Anderson LLP prior to joining Comair in 1984. He currently serves as a member of the board of trustees for Cincinnati Works, and previously served as a board member of the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.

Randy Walker is president of Randy Walker Real Estate Services, L.L.C and is associated with Commercial One Realtors as a Senior Vice President. Mr. Walker co-founded Hope Street Kids, a national pediatric cancer research initiative that has provided funding for research grants and fellowships at more than 50 medical institutions across the United States during the last decade. He serves as a member of the CureSearch Board of Directors and the National Children's Cancer Foundation. Mr. Walker is a graduate of the Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Real Estate Institute.
